Functions: Domain & Range

A vending machine takes coins (input) and gives snacks (output). Each coin combination maps to exactly one snack. That's a function: each input has exactly one output. But not every coin works (no pennies) — that's a domain restriction. And not every snack is possible (some sold out) — that's a range restriction.
