The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus

Calculus has two halves — derivatives (rates) and integrals (accumulation) — that looked unrelated for centuries. Then the Fundamental Theorem revealed they're the same operation, reversed. It's the bridge that makes all of calculus work, and it's why you can compute integrals with antiderivatives instead of grinding Riemann sums forever.
