Evaluating Limits

You evaluate lim(x→1) of (x²−1)/(x−1). You plug in x = 1: numerator 0, denominator 0. The calculator flashes 'ERROR.' But the limit isn't broken — the answer is hiding behind a removable hole. Three tools will dig it out, and 0/0 won't scare you again.
