AND, OR, NOT

Type 'cheap flights AND direct' into a search box and you get a tighter list. Switch to 'cheap OR direct' and the list explodes. Add a minus sign to exclude something, and you've used NOT. These three connectors — and, or, not — quietly run every filter you've ever touched. Logic gives them precise symbols: ∧, ∨, ¬.
