Saving vs Investing

Picture two roads to the same town. One is a flat, smooth, slow road — you'll never crash, but you'll crawl. The other is a fast highway with twists and the occasional bump — you'll arrive much sooner, but the ride isn't always comfortable. That's the difference between saving and investing. Both move your money forward; one trades speed for safety, the other safety for speed.
