The shapes with a count
A stop sign has 8 sides. A honeycomb cell has 6. The Pentagon building has 5. A triangle has 3. The only thing that changes is the count of sides — and that single count decides everything about the angles inside. Even the naming uses Greek for the count: tri, penta, hexa, octa.
A polygon is a closed shape made of straight segments.
