The Multivariable Chain Rule

A drone climbs a terrain z = f(x, y), but its position (x, y) is itself changing with time. So as the clock ticks, BOTH x and y shift, and the altitude responds to both at once. How fast is the drone gaining height? You can't just use one partial derivative — change is arriving through two doors.
