Triple Integrals

A double integral sums a quantity spread over a flat region. But mass, charge, and energy live inside solid bodies — a brick, a ball, a cone. To total a quantity packed throughout a 3D region you need three nested integrals: the triple integral. The integrand f(x,y,z) is the density of stuff; the answer is how much of it the solid holds.
