Properties of Congruence

If two clocks show the same time now, and you add the same number of hours to both, they'll still agree — forever. That's the whole spirit of congruence: equal things stay equal under the same operations. It means we can do real algebra inside a modulus, replacing huge numbers with their tiny remainders at every step.
