Units and Measurement

In 1999 NASA's Mars Climate Orbiter burned up in the planet's atmosphere. The spacecraft was fine; the math wasn't. One team used pounds, another used newtons, and nobody converted. A missing unit destroyed a mission. Numbers without units are dangerous.
