Simple Probability

You flip a coin and call heads. "It's 50/50," everyone says. But what does that number actually tell you? It doesn't guarantee the next flip is heads. It says: if you flipped a million times, about half would be heads. Probability is a fraction that lives on a number line from 0 (impossible) to 1 (certain) — and 1/2 sits right in the middle.
