The speed limit is a range

A speed limit sign reads 65. It doesn't mean drive exactly 65 — it means any speed up to 65 is legal. That's not one answer, it's a whole range: 0 ≤ speed ≤ 65. An equation pins down a single value; an inequality describes a set. Once you can read that set, you can describe height requirements, budget limits, safe doses, and every real rule that isn't a knife-edge.
